Deposit: a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. No booking can be considered confirmed until this deposit has been received by Craggan Outdoor Activities Ltd, trading as Craggan Outdoors, & a receipt / booking confirmation has been provided to you.
Payment of balance: this should be received by Craggan Outdoors a minimum of 30 days prior to your arrival date, unless otherwise agreed. An early full payment discount of 5% is offered subject to full payment being received 90 days prior to arrival date, or 2.5% discount if full payment is received 60 days prior to arrival date. Failure to pay your balance by 14 days prior to your arrival date may result in your booking being cancelled, with no refund of deposit being available.
Cancellation: 25% deposit is non-refundable. If a booking that has been paid in full is cancelled 90 days or more prior to the booked date of arrival at Craggan Outdoors, a 75% refund will be given; 50% refund if cancelled 61-89 days prior to arrival date; 25% refund if cancelled 31-60 days prior to arrival date; no refund if cancelled within 30 days or less of arrival date. Cancellation conditions will be applied pro rata if a group booking is reduced in numbers once balance payment has been made. We recommend that participants have appropriate travel insurance to cover against loss of money that will occur as a result of cancellation.
Amendment: if wishing to change the dates of a booking, whether confirmed with a deposit or paid in full, this may be done at the discretion of Craggan Outdoors, subject to the accommodation / activities originally booked being available on the revised date(s) requested. Craggan Outdoors reserves the right to apply an administration fee in these circumstances. If the client does not accept any alternative date(s) that are offered as being available, the situation will be treated as a cancellation.
Adverse weather conditions: in the event of adverse weather conditions requiring Craggan Outdoors to postpone any pre-booked activity sessions on the grounds of participant & instructor safety, a full credit for the postponed activity/activities will be given, & a future date for the activity session(s) to be rescheduled will be mutually agreed. This credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of the postponed session(s). The other option that may be mutually agreed is that an alternative activity / activities be substituted for the postponed activity / activities, & that this / these take place on the original booking date. No refund or change is applicable under these circumstances.
