RAFT BUILDING
Rafting building is great value good old fashioned fun for groups of all types and ages. The ingredients are you and your group, some plastic drums, wooden poles and rope...and of course the water. Your group will be split into teams of three or four, and then under guidance from your instructor each team will design and build their raft. Once built it's time to take to the water and test it for 'seaworthiness'. A few test paddles will usually give the answer, and offer opportunity for any technical adjustments. Then the competitive spirit takes over and a series of races will determine who gets bragging rights as top raft builders and racers. Price per person is from £12. |
