PONY TREKKING
Pony trekking is a safe and enjoyable activity for all. We use steady and robust Cob ponies that are noted for their easy temperament, so within moments you will feel safe and secure as you sit stride these lovely calm animals. No prior riding experience is necessary, although there is a minimum age limit of 12 years. Helmets are provided, and all treks are led by qualified and experienced instructors. All you need to do is bring yourself, dressed in long trousers and enclosed shoes, preferably with a heel, and dress appropriately for the prevailing weather conditions Once you feel comfortable in the saddle, you will be taken out on a circular trek through beautiful moorland and woodland scenery. Sit back and enjoy the ride, and being on horseback and away from traffic, there is always a good chance of seeing some of the huge range of Highland wildlife.
