Archery is one of those activities that people ‘discover’ at Craggan Outdoors. It’s great fun and the majority of people can demonstrate an aptitude for archery when they get the chance to try it. At Craggan Outdoors it is the classic ‘turn up…get on the range…give it a go’ activity, and as such is year-on-year our single most popular activity.
Our range of recurve bows are suited for use by anybody from an 8-9 year old through to the largest adult. We use shatter-proof aluminium arrows, and provide protective arm guards and finger tabs. All we ask of you is that ideally you wear a long sleeve top.
It is also worth noting that one of our two ranges is accessible by vehicle right to the firing line, and with archery being a popular sport with wheelchair users and those with other disabilities, we’d suggest this as one of the most accessible of outdoor activities. Our eldest ever activity participant was a 90 year old gentleman in a wheelchair who was dead chuffed at what he achieved on our archery range.
Your 1 to 2 hour session, depending upon group size, will be led by a qualified Archery Instructor. Price per person is from just £21 upwards, depending upon your group size. Always book ahead to avoid disappointment.
