If you fancy having a dabble with a paddle, Craggan Outdoors offer the perfect place for the beginner, novice or occasional paddler. Sessions take place on our purpose-dug on-site pond which sits beside our welcoming Clubhouse Cafe and changing rooms. The still shallow water presents a safe environment in which our qualified instructors lead group sessions.
After meet and greet in the Clubhouse Cafe, the session will begin with a briefing from your instructor and being kitted up with buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle, followed by a game or two on the bank to loosen everybody up. It's then on to sizing up for boats - our range of kayaks suit paddlers from age 8 / 9 upwards to those that are 6 foot plus - and getting everybody onto the water. Once everybody has mastered the basic paddle skills and balance, a series of fun team games will help hone those skills. The end of your 2 hour session will then see everybody given the opportunity for an exciting finale with a slide down the seal launch. Check out the video below.
