In terms of our own recommendations for eating and drinking locally, then we'd suggest any of the following:
  • The Craig Bar - good beer & banter, great pie & chips, a roaring log fire, & pool room with jukebox
  • Sylhet Brasserie - a good & busy curry house with friendly but occasionally 'hit & miss' service
  • Ben Mhor Hotel - Sky Sports, live music at weekends, & the No. 55 Bistro for informal but good quality meals
  • Garth Hotel & Restaurant - a bit more upmarket & traditional, serving the best local produce in some imaginative dishes
  • Craggan Mill Restaurant - award winning, whisky-focused cuisine, located right across the road from Craggan Outdoors
