Family & Friends

The easy access 'have a go and have fun doing it' ethos of Craggan Outdoors makes us the ideal choice for groups of families and friends that wish to spend time together around the focal point of one or more of our outdoor activities. Whether it's just one activity followed by some refreshments in the Clubhouse CafĂ©, a day spent on two or three activities with lunch in between, or a weekend or longer of 'stay and play' using our Bunkhouse or Bothy as a base, let us know what you fancy trying and we'll put together what we guarantee will be a memorable visit.

We can't put it better than this post-visit feedback from Caroline Mawer who visited with her family to enjoy a day of archery, kayaking and high ropes, along with a spot of lunch in the Clubhouse Cafe. Caroline commented: "I think that all you offer in the way of activities and your cafe is amazing. The staff were a lovely bunch....all very pleasant and encouraging, with a great sense of fun. Every activity session that we did was spot on! It was an amazing adventure for us all that couldn't be improved! Thanks!"

"We were a group of ten ranging in ages from 10 to 52. From the start we knew we were going to have a great day. The manager Keith welcomed us and introduced us to Ian and Taff, our instructors for the day. After the H & S instuctions we were ready to go - what an adventure. First up, the high ropes - including the Leap of Faith which I still can't believe we all did - but at all times we felt safe and secure. This activity lasted the whole morning and then we stopped for a great lunch. Next up, archery, again a fantastic activity with lots of time to shoot arrows - there was never any rush. Our last activity was kayaking! This was hilarious and we were very glad that we had a warmish day in April as the water was very cold! And yes, we did get wet, you can't really avoid it on the Seal Launch - a high slide into the water with you in your kayak! Overall a great day that started at 10 and finished after 5. Well organised and great fun and the instructors were both friendly and great fun." MichelleB, via TripAdvisor, 24th April 2011
