Community & Charity Groups
Outdoor activity centres such as Craggan Outdoors have the opportunity to play a big part in their community, providing discounted or even free-of-charge facilities, services and / or prizes to local schools, community organisations and charities.
Craggan Outdoors has a history of offering such support, both in and around Grantown-on-Spey and further afield - including Grantown Primary School, Grantown Grammar School, Grantown Beavers, FACES, Equal Adventure, Speyside Paddlers, Fife Air Cadets Conservation Group, and Borders Young Carers - and will continue to do so.
Let us know if you are interested in Craggan Outdoors becoming involved with your organisation. We will consider all such requests, and will support as many as we feel that we can.
"Everyone achieved something. The whole experienced brought people closer." Family Learning, 10th September 2011
"This is our 6th visit to Craggan Outdoors and once again having taken a group of 14 teenagers kayaking, horse riding and raft building, they all had a fantastic time. Staff were very helpfull and encouraged the not so confident youngsters who took part and felt a sense of achievment at the end of their trip. The raft building was a great way of team building with the adults being shown the way by the youths encouraging interaction with different age groups. Look forward to coming back next year." "This was a return trip to Craggan Outdoors, knowing already that they offer superb activites and superb instruction. We now know that they offer good bunkhouse accommodation aswell....a bunkhouse with everything you need for a stay near to Grantown on Spey, and a perfect base for numerous different activities! We were not disappointed - the activities offered were brilliant, the prices reasonable, the instructors entertaining and well equipped to lead the activities, and the setting is glorious ! We did the gorge walk (brilliant team building exercise) and the rock climbing and abseiling (very challenging and great fun) and enjoyed 2 nights in the bunkhouse, which was private enough that we could have a mini celeidh without disturbing anyone ! Strongly recommend Craggan Outdoors to fellow thrill seekers."
